The CBS Documentary Debunks The Ramsey's Lies

It's impossible to disprove every lie from the Ramsey family over the last 20 years, but at least there is finally an honest documentary that wasn't paid for by the Ramsey family, and involves actual investigators who worked on the case.

This is the reason for the Dr. Phil interview. This is why Burke decided to finally break his silence. It wasn't to honor his sisters memory. If he really wanted to do anything positive for his sister, why didn't he break his silence to detectives or anyone still working on the case. The family hasn't said anything or done anything towards solving the case. The only reason they felt safe on Dr. Phil is because the Ramsey's and him share the same lawyer.

^Exactly!

And there are people who knew them from back then, and I know it's a shock but people know what happened and these interviews on Dr.Phil are insulting. And it's no coincidence they didn't remain friends with 1 single person from Boulder back in that time.

What's interesting is Dr. Phil is a CBS/Paramount/Viacom-owned show as is the documentary. They're contradicting themselves.

No, both shows were aired on CBS, but they are not "owned" by the same company.

Dr. Phil is a production of Peteski Productions and distributed by CBS Television Distribution.

The JB Doc is produced by Critical Content and distributed by CBS television.

Basically, both shows were shown on CBS, and that's where it ends.

reply

The distributor has the say on the shows- hence, since they're both CBS-distributed, they're contradicting themselves.

reply

No, the distributor just distributes the show.

The producer creates the show with a team of people. They then shop the show to see who will want to show (distribute) it, and that was CBS.

I love the way the CBS Documentary laid everything out there...I totally believe their theory...I always thought the family had something to do with it...

Watching that along with watching Dr. Phil's 3 day interview with Burke made me even more sure that Burke did it and Patsy and John were covering up for him...

"You're going to need a bigger boat"

reply

Exactly. Take away the "ransom note" and what do you got? A 6 year old girl killed in her own home when 3 members of her family were in the home. The "intruder theory" was cooked up by the parents to cover for one of the 3 (most likely Burke). Without the "ransom note," the "intruder theory" doesn't hold up.

reply

And all three (one already) are taking what happened to the grave.

And most of the time the answer is the simplest one. To believe in the "intruder" theory you have to believe in a lot of very implausible events happening.

You're so right, but I've seen in many cases it's quite possible to find 12 jurors who'll believe the most idiotic explanations of a case, just so they can avoid convicting somebody. And remember, "Dr. Phil" used to be a jury consultant for the defense. They always look for the gullible and stupid, so their clients can avoid paying for their crimes.

reply

Look no further than OJ, Casey Anthony, etc....

As another poster put it...."take away the ransom note and what do you have?"

That show was a joke. They had already made up their minds. That 911 operator says it's the first time she's been asked each and every time she's been asked on several programs. There is nothing on that call after her mother reports her missing. It's just audio noise. That so-called friend of their from back in the day, the photographer, seemed like she was starved for attention and enjoyed getting the little bit.
