Must his wife always be on the show?

You never found Marlo on Donahue, Connie on the Maury show. So why should Robin always be on his show? Is she so insecure? It's like she won't let him go out alone.

reply

That's a weird thing to assume.

reply

Umm maybe because they just enjoy being together? I think it's nice.

reply

There is a term for men like that and I decline to repeat it due to the nature of the word.

reply

Good/Caring husbands?

reply

californians?

The food I've liked in my time is American country cookin'-Colonel Sanders 🇺🇸

reply

dmenacelife, I so agree with you! The way she holds his hand at the end of the show, and she's looking up at him so longingly every single time. I have to change the channel before that crap happens. It just looks so fake (and so submissive)!

reply

I don't mind that Robin is there but I resent the way she's used. Dr. Phil says something about her and then the camera is on her so we can see her nodding in agreement. She's window dressing.

It is right that Dr. Phil give her as much credit as he does, but Robin should have a chance to say more, to disagree with him from time to time, and to pursue projects NOT associated with the show.

reply

Why? She isn't qualified

reply

He was married to someone who didn't want to change for him. This was BEFORE Robin. He had her do all kinds of stuff to change her looks so she would be the perfect looking wife. He has her on the show so he can say, "look at my work."

reply

She has to be there to walk him out coz sometimes he gets lost and tehn he cries.

reply

Robin is Dr. Phil's HUSBAND!
