Danielle the twerking teen question

Ok , this really obnoxious 13 delinquent (Danielle ) is constantly threatening and insulting her mother and doing even worse stuff. Yet she insists on climbing into her mother's bed to sleep with her at night. WTF is up with that????

Even good teens that are respectful and devoted to their parents don't want to sleep with their parents at night!

What possible explanation could there be for her doing that?

I watched this episode. I wanted so badly to reach into the screen and slap her upside the head with her "A-right" and laughing at everything. Saying the crew member asked for her car to be stolen was just ridiculous. Usually people crack at some point but she was pretty good, she didn't look like anything really bothered her. I think what Dr. Phil figured out is that her dad is not in the picture at all. He asked "where's your father in all this" and she was like "I don't know." So he surmised she had been hurt somewhere along the way but she won't open up and talk about it. Sometimes girls who have not good or no relationships with their fathers end up seeking attention from not so savory males, which it sounds like Danielle does. The thing that peeved me off is she, of course, was offered to go to Foo Foo boot camp or whatever instead of having to go prison once the crew member pressed charges against her for stealing her car. "Oh, I'll go to the camp." And everyone cheers because, yay, another redeemed child! Then after the show she throws another fit because now she doesn't want to go to the camp, she "Wants to go home and do what I need to do" or however she put it. What does she have to do? She's 13! Ugh. I'm sorry. I'm just so grateful that when my daughter turned 13 and turned into a jerk for a month or so that it was short lived and she never did what this girl does.
