Isn't Disney Channel Original

This is based on a book called If I Had One Wish by Jackie French Koller. The fact that the Disney Channel and its people call it an "original" is incorrect.

When disney channel says 'Original Disney Channel Movie' they don't nessicarily mean they created the idea. They mean that they made the movie, and didn't get it from another channel.

There are other "disney channel original movies" that are based on books. Like The Poof Point, The Other Me, and others that I can't think of.

Yeah, the movie Tru Confessions was also based on a book.

So was Mom's Got A Date With A Vampire, and I remember hearing that Zenon is, too.
