If I Had One Wish... By Jackie French Koller

This is the book Disney Channel's Original Movie is based off of. It's actually a pretty good book. (even though so far I only got to the 11th chapter) My friend Mara, who I see everyday at school because she's in my first period gave it to me for keeps because I gave her my book Harry Potter and the Sorceror's Stone and she likes the Harry Potter Series plus she didn't have that book. Anyway, everything's basically the same. Boy wishes on a coin that his little brother (Stevie) would disappear, boy wants his brother back and his life because everything has changed. Although one thing is different. In the movie the boy's name is Alex and in the book it's Alec. I'm not sure, but I think he didn't have an older sister in the movie, did he? In the book, the older sister was liked best by Alec's dad, her name was Kelly, and Alec was sort of jealous of her because he stunk at sports and got bad grades while she didn't.
