where is the movie made

does any know where this movie is filmed because it has a lot of kiwis in it

yea it was made in new zealand. it was made in auckland, i live there. it was filmed in the imax mall and down queen street(massive shopping). wt do u mean lots of kiwis were in it?

Kiwi is a slang term for New Zealander.

Also the football scenes were filmed at a rugby club in the North Harbour area just across the bridge from Auckland (for those that aren't Kiwis).

i only just found out it was filmed in new zealand. Where are all the kiwis? man im confused

they should change it cus it is missleading it is made in new zealand cus the school he goes to on the movie is auckland grammer just dressed up a little

Do New Zealanders drive on the left side of the road?

If so, how did they film the street scenes...

Yes, New Zealand drives on the left.

I would imagine they got permission to close roads temporarily and remove signs on the "wrong" side of the road.

There's one bit when the main guy is walking round Downtown Auckland and if u watch closely there is a delivery van parked on the left side of Queen Street.

I don't think is Auckland Grammar used in the movie, it looks more like Takapuna Grammar - www.takapuna.school.nz/

They don't close the roads. They shoot the scene normally with the cars on the left side and then reverse the shot. When doing those scenes they have to make sure there is no writing on anything so that doesn't get reversed aswell....I'm a kiwi and I study film...So yeah

yea i went to takapuna grammar and i heard it was filmed there. i lived right next door and i never heard they were even shooting a movie lol. oh well but i think its takapuna grammar cuz apparently u can see our hallways in it. thats pretty cool!!!!! does anyone know where i can find some clips for it? cuz i havent seen it and i cant find it anywhere.

the lady who looks after that little brother acts on i think it was the strip or a show about strippers. and she was on shortland street

afew of the school kids are kiwi's, just extras.

and one of the jocks is australian, from neighbors and the rest are new zealand actors from the tribe and shortland street and mai time

yes, we do drive on the left side of the street. so they probably just roped off sections for the movie.
