I would have liked it if the stories were ordered more chronologically

I mean...more or less this is a collection that serves as a mid-quel between The Matrix and The Matrix Reloaded.

Stories like Program, World Record, Beyond and Matriculated can't really be placed chronologically, so their order doesn't necessarily matter.

But for structural reasons I think the others should be in a more specific order.

The Second Renaissance should come first and Final Flight of the Osiris should be last. A Detective Story and Kid's Story should fall somewhere in between, as should the rest of the stories.

Damn, I agree too. But other than that, it's perfect. I feel the same way with the video game "Beyond two souls" for the ps3. It's flawed, plot and game play wise, but a major complaint is the order it's told. It's all over the place.
