Most disturbing image in The Second Renaissance

I think many people would unanimously agree The Second Renaissance parts I and II are the most disturbing episodes in the Animatrix. So what are the most disturbing and memorable images you’ve had of those anime features?

For me though it would have to be the image where the human soldier has his arms and legs torn off as he was being pulled from his mech. Coupled with his cries of help and his scream makes a very disturbing scene.

That was kind of a "why are they beating that woman wi- woah! She's a- he just, hmmmmm..."
Personally I found the battles to be the most disturbing, just watching how brutally the sides slaughtered each other, and how badly humanity gets ripped to shreds for nothing.
Also the last line, "Your flesh belongs to us" was both chilling and amazingly cool at the same time.

If Little Red Riding Hood shows up with a bazooka an a bad attitude I expect you to chin the bitch

Just completely horrifying.
All those scenes make me want to stay away from the idea of artificial intelligence.

o.k.. so I got high and didn't think much about this video until we actually watched it.. the most disturbing image for me was at first the lady being beaten only to turn out to be a machine, but besides that, I think it was all of the soldiers in the ditch praying before going into battle. to think all of mankind finally praying for the same outcome. praying for unity. the only time we'd see it is if humanity was threatened. that was disturbing for me. then the machines offered "peace" with an apple that explodes. haha. insane story, but amazing to watch.

I thought the most disturbing was when the lady got her scull crushed then ripped apart in part 1...

The jubilation when the humans found a way to destroy the machines... kill the sky. This was way to much! Definitely not a good idea.
