This movie is a crime to cinema, please take some time to think about yourself if you think this movie is comparable to The Dark Knight. Your life is unstable and you may have mental health problems.
shareThe Dark Knight circlejerk wankers are clowns. It's a good film but so many of you fell line, hook and sinker for the hype. Anyone who thinks The Dark Knight is one of the best films ever whilst Catwoman is one of the worst is a shithead.
Sunk cost fallacy. You've been part of the cult for too long and are afraid to realize that the film isn't special and you were conned.
I suspect that many people look at the user rating for a movie and let the rating influence their own rating. They think, "With so many people giving it the rating it has, then maybe that's the rating it deserves, so I'll follow suit." I read some of the external reviews for Catwoman and they all panned it. But I fail to see why it deserves a 1 star out of four rating. I also gave it a 6/10. Maybe I'm just not sophisticated enough.

Outside factors heavily determine peoples opinions on films. Social factors. If the critics praise it, if it has a high user rating online then even if you don't like it much you'll often feel compelled to give it a brownie point or two. To not stray too far from the hive.
If you watch a film that has an 8. You think it's decent enough so you give it a 7.
If you watch a film that has a 3. You think it's decent enough so you give it a 5.
'Cinephiles' are the sort of goons who'll tell you Nosferatu (1922) is a 9 whilst giving Catwoman (2004) a 1. They need to give their heads a rinse. Catwoman is a much superior film.
