I think that Rhona Mitra from Underworld 3 could be a great replacement for Angelina Jolie. She is 5'7 and 33 years old and Jolie is 5'8 and 34 years old. They both are very beautiful and very athletic. What do you guys think.

Definitely. I think even more so since she was one of the actual models for Lara in the games. As far as I can tell, she IS Lara Croft. There are so many reasons to go off of, but I just can't stand Jolie anymore. I used to be a fan, but now that I think about it she did not do a good job playing Lara. She's not even British. I feel she was just used as a sex icon, and Lara Croft is so much more.

She IS British, which means she's even better.

If I recall she was marketed as the 'real' embodiment of Lara when the games were being released - at least after the second one. Proper hair, hot safari pants, blue/green hugging t'shirt - the works!

No, only with the first game. They got another model for the second game.
If you like Rhona, check out season 3 of Nip/Tuck!! She owns that season;-)

Rhona is perfect, in all ways. She was a model for Lara, is british, and can kick ass. But i doubt they'll go with the perfect fit. If Jolie isn't cast again, probably will be some pretty actress that can't act and has nothing to do in any way with lara like megan fox or something.

A re work of Lara Croft should be a no brainer for studio's i would of thought .

Rhona fits nicely as Lara , Emily Blunt and even Milla Jovovich others i could see in the role .

You are correct MBuckley. Rhona was an early "booth babe" ver of Lara early on.

I always felt she would be good.

I thought Angelina WAS English the first time I saw Tomb Raider, and I'm British, so there's no need for the bitching about that...

I agree. I'm British and her accent is fine.
