shareBasically he, his brother, and Claire are all dead. I guess he is in some kind of purgatory where he thinks he is alive and can change what happened. During the crash he saw everyone that was supposedly in 2002 ( which just so happened to be the time that he died 20:02). Both Anna, and Travis ( the orderly) are actually paramedics, Dr. Truman is actually his father. Travitt (his roommate) was actually just a patient in the hospital that he saw before he died, just like the nurse. And the guy that "tries to kill him" is really the surgeon in the room when he died from his injuries.

The fact that he woke up meant that he still didn't accept what happened and therefore had to continue to repeat it.
yes, and the storyline and ending are very very similar to the movie SOUL SURVIVOR (2001)

Surely the other way around, The Life Before Her Eyes was made after The I Inside...but nevertheless both unique approaches.
