Getting too Old

The twins are getting to old for this kind of thing. They should do an actual theater movie and maybe even do some things on their own.

They ARE. New York Minute, dunno what it's about, comes out in 2004. Yeah, I agree, the basic plots from Passport To Paris-When In Rome have been the same, just in a differnt country and a differnt storyline (FBI, interns, road trip, disciplinary trip, model UN trip, fun trip to Bahamas etc.). Who agrees?

I agree. The only two things they do in every movie is go to foreign countries and kiss cute boys. They are pretty decent actresses. They are growing up and should start doing films w/ more depth and meaning. I hope New York Minute will turn out better than their previous movies.

Totally. I mean, most movies are supposed to make you feel good about yourself. And while the movies are fun and enjoyable, it's annoying that boys just fall in love with them, you know? I mean, boys in real life aren't like that (most, anyway. Some are nice.) and you actually have to do something before the boy likes you. But, yeah, my point is, it just gets tedious, same thing over and over again.

Totally agree with you...its annoying in their movies how guys just fall in love with them and in the end it always is okay...and what is it with them and kissing?? in every single movie they do they kiss! its so annoying all their movies are about is going to a forien country (aka london, paris, rome,) or going on some trip and meeting guys...i go on plenty of trips and i never meet guys like they do...the movies are so unrealistic the way they just "left their parents and went of to hang out with boys" its totally annoying...hopefully new york min will be better...but again it'll probably be about kissing and sex just like all their other movies!

First of all when they filmed that movie they were 16 which compared to lets say 25 year old isnt that old. Second their movies arn't the only movies that have people kissing there are a ton of movies with people kissing its not a big deal. And movies arn't realistic. If they were I could get on a broomstick and fly to hogwarts and if movies were about normal average people MOST of them would be boooring.

Well, I guess, it's not that it involves kissing. It's that the romances now seem obligatory with very little real emotion.

The secondary (kind of) romance plots are really thin on the ground most of the time. I don't feel for the characters enough.

One of the few dynamics I did enjoy in Mary-Kate and Ashley movies was the one between Griffen and Madison in Holiday in the Sun.

But when you turn on an Olsen Production, you're not looking for Shakespeare, it's just happy fun movies to watch.

The point is...most of their films since Passport to Paris have little variety in their plots. It always the same kind of plot...hookups and traveling abroad. very cliche.
