This movie was stupid from the very beginning, the start of the film looked like a documentary film as if they were trying to make this film look all realistic and so many retards actually think the events in this movie actually happened just because it says "Inspired by True Events". Yea, apparently a lot of retards don't know what "inspire" means. After that, we get stupid dialogue by the five characters as they were riding in a van, they were just talking about weed and sex and all that typical slasher film cliches.

They picked a girl up from the side of the road who wasn't even hitchhiking because she looked like she "needed help" and that girl pulled a gun out of her crotch. LOL! Then killed herself. Funny thing is that the five people eventually acted like they didn't care that much about the fact that a girl just killed herself in their van. Those people sounded like they had little emotion. Yea, great acting.

When the sheriff finally showed up, he wanted to wrap that dead girl's body with some food wrap and told Andy to help out. I liked how those people weren't saying anything to the cop and let the cop do whatever he wanted.

When Leatherface was chasing Andy, Leatherface somehow teleported in front of Andy and sliced his leg off with the chainsaw. Wtf? You're telling me a fat guy with a chainsaw can outrun you?

The cop showed up AGAIN, the movie did not explain why the cop returned and decided to take someone else, which was Morgan. I liked how their van did not work when Erin tried to start the van. Good writing. Totally did not sound like a cliche at all. I also laughed at how Erin unlocked a lock by using a knife and she tried to start the car with a knife. Wow. The writers.

When Leatherface showed up again, their van's tires got loose. Wtf? The movie never explained how that happened.

When Erin finally got caught by the Hewitt family, Leatherface threw her in the basement and left her there. I liked how they took her to the basement when she was in good physical condition yet Kemper got hit in the head by a hammer, Andy got his leg chopped off and got his back hooked, and Morgan looked like he had a stab wound in the back. But I guess Erin was a special snowflake, Leatherface wanted to go easy on her. When Erin and Morgan tried to escape, Leatherface FINALLY showed up. Yea, smart move! That was a really good idea to leave Erin there with Morgan when they were both able to walk.

Erin decided to hide in a slaughterhouse and Leatherface SOMEHOW knew she was there, almost like he had superhuman speed or something. She chopped his right arm off with a meat cleaver or something and decided to take off. WTF?! Why didn't she just kill him there?! Oh wait, it's a Texas Chainsaw Massacre film, you are not allowed to kill Leatherface. He doesn't have superhuman strength like what Jason Voorhees and Michael Myers have. Why the fvck didn't he die?

I swear to God, everytime Erin ran into someone, it's always someone who is related to the Hewitt family as if Hewitt family was the ONLY one living in that town. Erin escaped and Leatherface FOR SOME STUPID FVCKING REASON was still standing. He got his right arm chopped off and he accidentally cut his leg with the chainsaw but you're telling me he can still walk? Also, Erin was trying to escape the town, as she was, Leatherface was in front of her car. How did Leatherface go from the slaughterhouse to the border of the town?

And of course at the end of the film, another cliche happened, a guy who is recording with a camera got attacked by the killer while filming to make the movie "scary" even tho this movie was not scary even at the slightest. I also love how Leatherface managed to kill those two cops at the end even tho Leatherface had no gun and only had one arm. Those cops did a good job at fighting off Leatherface.

Dumb fvcking movie.

Lol I couldn't even make it past the first paragraph of your stupid rant. Stfu you homo. It was a great movie, one of the best 21st century horror remakes by far. The movie was very realistic and had a dark tone to it, and the acting was also good idk what you're smoking you fool.

Eh, I prefer the prequel of this remake but this is still an okay movie. Though I didn't feel sorry for any of the characters.

I thought it was weird that she had a gun between her legs like that. It didn't make sense. But I think the director was trying to make Erin the only caring, nice one in the group with everyone else being self-centered jerks. It didn't work for me because she was an idiot and the very reason they ended up in the mess they did.

Well.....Charlie is shown to be a freaking lunatic later in the movie so them stepping up to say anything would not have ended well. I think they were glad he came at all so anyway he wanted to get rid of the body was fine with them. After all, they were trying to outnumber Erin into just dumping the body.

I don't remember Leatherface being in front of Andy when he cuts his leg off. He was kind of far behind Erin. And I don't think Leatherface is fat either. He just looks really burly and muscular to me.

Um, what? I don't know why Charlie was wandering around either because the scenes that followed seemed pretty clear as to why he took Morgan with him.

I don't think they really cared about Erin being able to walk. I don't know what their mindset was with that. But with the slaughterhouse, of course, anyone would assume she would go there. It's clearly the closest place to the Hewitt house. Where else is she going to go? I honestly never understand why horror film characters chose to hide in places anyways. It's only so big so you will be caught eventually.

Well, charlie killed the last sheriff in the prequel so there certainly was not any law enforcement around. If I remember and assume correctly, the Hewitts are located on the back roads of Texas so getting anyone other than them around the area is some kind of miracle I suppose. Also, in the prequel, it did say something about how the Texas town they are in dies which one would assume it means there is hardly anyone there anymore since there are no jobs for people.

I use to think it was confusing as well that Leatherface appeared out of nowhere when Erin is getting away. But now that I think about it, when the guy picked her up, she tried taking hold of the wheel and was saying the same thing the hitchhiker was saying about him going the wrong way. So maybe when she ran from the Hewitt house and ended back at their little food shop, she had gone in some circle and the way the trucker was going when he picked her up was heading back that way which is why she flipped out.

All in all, still an okay movie. You either don't watch enough horror films or you really were not paying attention to the movie.

Eh, I prefer the prequel of this remake but this is still an okay movie.

The prequel was one of the most illogical movies ever. None of the things there made sense, examples such as Leatherface being born in a meat factory and then thrown in the dumpster and when Leatherface sliced off both of Grandpa's legs just because he had a gunshot wound on one leg. The prequel tried to be more "scary" by being more gory even tho that movie was not remotely scary, just like the remake.

Leatherface was behind Andy when he was chasing Andy and suddenly Leatherface popped up in front of Andy and sliced his leg off. Watch it again.

Great decision right there. And when Erin and Morgan tried to escape, Leatheface freaked out and went after them. Very logical move, right?

A town that only had one cop left? And no one was worried about that? That makes sense to you? A town only having one cop? If a cop went missing, I'm pretty sure it would be a big fvcking deal but I guess a poor hillbilly family could get away with that murder, right? Btw, I watched this remake before I watched the prequel (which wasn't very good either).

No. She ran from the slaughterhouse to the end of the town and when she got picked up by the truck driver and stole the truck to escape from the town, Leatherface was in front of her as she was driving to the end of the town. So Leatherface went from the slaughterhouse to the end of the town on foot with one arm that was chopped off like minutes ago. But hey, I guess that makes sense to you.

All in all, still an okay movie.

Bro, it's a slasher film. It does not take a horror expert to understand a slasher film plot. Slasher film plots are as thin as a piece of paper. They're full of cliches and require no logic at all. You clearly didn't pay attention to the film either.

Don't tell me to watch something again when you clearly missed the part where Charlie told Leatherface to cut off Monty's other leg for balance and because he already accidently nicked it when he was cutting off the wounded leg.

I do remember that and that was stupid. It was one of the most illogical decisions I've ever seen in a horror film. Just as illogical as that scene in the prequel where the cop left his shotgun in his car next to the windshield when Charlie was still in the car. Let's not forget about the ending when Leatherface was hiding in the back of the girl's car with the chainsaw and the girl, for some odd reason, did not notice him at all, but as soon as her car was heading towards a cop and a civilian, Leatherface decided to show up at that moment and kill her so her car would run over those two people on the street.

But hey, you prefer the prequel over this stupid remake.

Yeah, I do prefer it over this one. The characters are better than the five druggies. Anyways, that's all I'm saying on this topic and to you. I'm near my limit of attempting to talk to people about movies and shows who illogically post topics like this and just spend their time bashing rather than going to a board of a show/movie they actually enjoy. Have fun acting like you're better than people. So far it looks pretty lonely being you.

Far be it from me to interrupt your little lovefest, but there are some details here that should be addressed.

Erin did not steal the truck, she stole the squad car.

They just made you think she was trying to hot-wire the truck because they showed the sheriff stalking around the truck while they showed Erin with the wires.

As for the rest, I don't think the location of the slaughterhouse was shown in relationship to where Erin was driving.

You could make the case that Erin ran from the slaughterhouse through the woods for a while, then came out to the road in front of the truck. She may not immediately have realized when she got into the truck that it was headed back the way she had come from.

I declined to watch the "prequel", so maybe the location of the slaughterhouse vs. where the truck stopped was better explained.

Oh, one more thing - Leatherface cuts off the guy's leg, but the guy does not bleed to death? And the same when Erin cuts off Leatherface's arm - why did he not bleed to death there in the slaughterhouse?

Anyone who takes this film this seriously doesn't understand the slashed trope genre. Its supposed to deliver on bloody death & destruction. Simply put. It delivers the goods for a modern slasher.
