OK it's in episode "defense". When Van and that chick go racing....It starts out "poor thing broken hearted nothing can get you started......." I have looked at the episode list checked every song listed there and it not any of them! I love this song but don't know who sings it or the title. HELP PLEASE!!!!
hey since you know about the original songs that they play in the series episodes, maybe you can help me with the 2 songs on 2 different episodes.
1 of the songs is a song that is playing while Deaque is showing off the nice glass-type house by the beach to his partner, and says that he is tired and just wants to hit the silk and dream of jeanie.
the song plays while he is preparing the meals before his private date with that pretty girl that comes over after the food prep scene
and the 2nd song is the song that plays during the race, the episodes plot is about a kid being pushed around by his crowd, and it ends with the kid ending up in Mexico after setting up Deaqe and his partner.
like i said the song plays during the street race with Deaque and some other guy that he challenges, for some reason Deaque didn't agree to compete with the guy because black people are not known for good reps in watersports, so he was willing to race the guy instead. The song plays during the race its like a rave or trance type of track with no lyrics. I was really upset when the dvd series came up with other songs instead of the originals that played on TV.
if you can help me out i would really appreciate it!!!
the episodes to where these songs can be found on the titles "things done changed" and "dogtown" but the songs are only played in those scenes i mentioned on the tv version, not the dvd version
yea hi kare31-1 my name's mike...i was curious if you knew a song from the pilot when van & cassidy are driving at night and she says he needs to work on his lying and how they should drive right past this deal and go far away somewhere and its a slow song sung by a girl and some of the lyrics are "all the problems you create, cant you see, its just dead weight, when im away"...
Whirlwind by Beautysconfusion. It's available on Itunes and I found the lyrics on this site: http://beautysconfusion.net/lyrics.htm (You'll have to scroll near to the end of the page)
Just for completion's sake, the original broadcast song was In the Air Tonight by Phil Collins (I love that scene!).
1) Young and Sexy by Lyric -- from "Things Done Changed." I pulled out my original taped from broadcast episodes and compared with the lyrics (found here: http://lyrics.astraweb.com/display/611/lyric..unknown..young_sexy.html ). I couldn't find the song anywhere to listen to on the web, but I only looked very briefly.
2) Ready Steady Go by Paul Oakenfold -- from "Dogtown." It's available on Itunes.
Sorry I didn't respond sooner; I don't check here very often. Hope this helps! I was so disappointed when the DVD came out and didn't have more of the original music.
