Is it that difficult to have released the DVDs in Widescreen??! It had to be more trouble to transition from Fullscreen to Widescreen for those random split screen shots, than if they'd just left it all widescreen.
Everything looks better wisescreen, especially since this show was filmed WIDESCREEN!
I just don't get it .... ? What's the advantage of making the show fullscreen to the company releasing this box set ?

I don't get it. Everyone keeps saying that the set has
NO widescreen
NO Dolby Digital 5.1 surround Sound
No animated menus
But mine does , I agree about the music part. But my copy which by the way was bought from Amazon is widescreen, has Dolby Digital 5.1 surround Sound and ok only four of the six disc has menus, but that is fine with me. Everyone keeps giving a list of things that their copy does not have and most of the stuff they list mine does have.
This is not the first time I bought something from Amazon and it be completely diff. from everyone else. I bought the Harry Potter book set too and they are identical to the British version but they are suppost to be the American version

some people doesn't even seem to notice that they are watching things in the wrong aspect ratio.. are your sure you really have a widescreen set ?

my dvd isn't widescreen either. are you sure yours isn't fullscreen, but the tv you are watching it on is stretching it to a widescreen ratio?
there wasn't a widescreen release of this on dvd.
