In the beginning of this remake I hated it. I hated how so much of it was word for word from the original. Then it started to grow on me. The actress who played Carrie did a decent job and I found myself dreading the infamous blood scene. Then the end happened and I was left disappointed. I don't try to be overly critical of remakes but this could have been so much better.

After reading the trivia I understand now why they ended it the way they did. But I still feel they could have done so much better. Reminds me of how they tried to make a show out of cruel intentions. Just not a good idea.

very true. That's what makes the original so terrifying. I liked Carrie 2 better than this.
