In about 5 or 6 years, Abigail Breslin would nail the role!

I could've also seen Bryce Dallas Howard doing truly incredible as well.

Mia Kirshner also would be totally perfect. Darkly beautiful in a totally unique and exotic way and so talented, as well totally ageless looking and purely hypnotic to watch....she can break your heart with one simple expression and can make you feel more sorry than anything for her.

They need to re-remake this have Bryce Dallas Howard playing Carrie White hell yeah! Do a re-remake of Carrie in 2012 or 2013 spring season released in theaters this time! Re-remake Children of the Corn and The Shinning aswell.

I think Amanda Seyfried would make a better Chris than Carrie. She was in Mean Girls, after all.

For Carrie, a few years ago I would've said Summer Glau in a heartbeat, but I think she's a bit too old for it now (she'll be 29 next month).

Mia's too beautiful to play Carrie.

I agree, Bryce is too old.

Schuyler Fisk could have played her a few years ago, but I think she's too old now as well.

Dakota Fanning's got too intimidating an air to be Carrie...her stare could send a chill up the bullies' spines.

Hmmm...I really don't know who could play Carrie nowadays.
