What was the deal with that? Were they trying to make her sympathetic in a way? Anyway I thought Emilie De Ravin was the best chris out of the 3 (76, 2002 & 2013).
shareChris paused in the book. Billy even told her that he wouldn't pull the rope for her. I think she paused because she was scared. This wasn't some kiddie prank. This stunt could have resulted in a criminal record if she got caught. I think that's why she paused. It's one thing to say mean things. It's another to plan a detailed attack. I don't think she paused out of concern for Carrie.
