Do yourself a favour and see Angela Bettis' previous film, May.

Until seeing Carrie, recently -- I lasted 18 minutes, May was the only film I'd seen her in.

According to IMDb trivia, even though Bettis completed May, and was then cast in Carrie, on the strength of that performance -- at the time, May was yet to be released, most believe that she was cast in May, on the strength of her Carrie performance.

I'm not sure what public perception is, on this; I do know that Carrie is neither her role, nor is it Chloe Moretz Grace' role -- it's Sissy Spacek's.

If you want to see a truly great, and an original performance by Angela Bettis, see May.

That's her role; and, it's a truly sweet horror movie.
