Just watched the pilot...

I assume it only goes up from there? The pilot was fine, but I didn't find myself engaging with any of the characters. I know pilots are tricky to execute because there is so much exposition to get through, but even so I just felt like it lacked action and build-up. I've heard such amazing things about this show, and it does seem right up my alley, so I'm hoping to like it.

I think you will find the rest intriguing. And often confusing. But never boring.

I felt the same for the first 2-3 episodes. I couldn't relate to any of the characters.
But I got absolutley hooked with the 4. episode.

It's my favorite show now. And I love a lot of the characters!

I just started watching too, I'm about half way through episode 9. I wasn't sure about it in the first few episodes but it picks up after the pilot and I got really sucked in during episode 5.

I know what You are asking .."is this ever going anywhere?"

Let me assure You it will.

Episode 5 and 6 are one of the best TV as a medium has ever made, and it really starts to get them wheels under, the story telling wise

If You are still not hooked after “Hot And Bothered” let it go this particular series was`nt meant for You.

"is this ever going anywhere?"

And answer is "no" for season 1, but that's not so bad since the style and cinematography is enough to keep the show afloat. By the time I reached episode 10, I was like, "Wow, the reviews were right; the storytelling is terrible."

But I kept watching because it was such a neatly shot show with a fascinating subject matter.

Season 2 the story picks up big time, though.
