could have been better
I got a feeling of "that's it?" watching this film conclude the other night. You don't learn much at all about Will Graham's past, except that he was involved in crime or the underground scene and it seemed like they threw an ending together for him disposing of Malcolm McDowell. The reason McDowell gave for raping his brother was a little silly I thought in regards to the plot, I thought maybe McDowell was wronged by Will's earlier life and sought revenge, but when I learned the rape was a random crime that had nothing to do with Will, I was a little disappointed. I didn't feel the script or plot did enough with the actors they had, especially Owen, who's always good in a dark, brooding role (loved him in Croupier). That's about it- I liked it, but it could have been better I thought.
