So, did it not matter what story Will told Edward as he was dying? I got the feeling that when Edward told Will to tell him the story of how he goes, Edward was just looking for Will to show him some of the imagination that he showed his whole life in telling all of his stories. Almost that he was waiting for Will to realize he, too possessed the same storytelling abilities as Edward before he passed...

What I like about it, is that it's still quite bland - thus showing Will isn't quite the storyteller that Edward has been - but that the details are all there and no favourite character of Edward's is left out. It's not so much the story but Edward's reaction (brilliant acting from Finney) that makes it such a powerful scene.
