McGregor is good too, but Finney is amazing, I've never seen his work (as I remembered) before but he's a great actor. I couldn't help to cry when Ed's son starts to tell the story in the end, and the way he look at his son.

I especially liked him in the Cohn brothers' "Miller's Crossing".
