When "time stops" in the circus when he sees Sandra. The expression on her face is so lovely!
Opportunity is missed by most people because it is dressed in overalls and looks like work. -Edison
When Will is telling the story of how his father 'goes', and Karl appears and moves a car to the side for them. It's the brief nod from Karl and wave from Edward in passing that I love, can't really explain why.
Chihiro: You don't remember your name?
Haku: No, but for some reason I remember yours.
It's all about the little things. :)

The whole last scene when Will forgets how much he hates the embellishments of his father, and tells the story of 'how he goes' (when Karl pushes the car aside, ad then when he's waving to all his friends at the river bank)... Beautiful ending
shareYes, the ending is lovely.
I really like the bit when the erstwhile circus giant hitches a lift out of there, now he knows his place in the circus is no more.
I get serious goosebumps when Edward comes home from the war! Something about the combination of him in uniform and the sunshine and the white sheets hanging from the clothesline. And when he takes the clothespin off the line and the sheet falls. The 1940's housewife in me gets a major thrill!! :) :) :)
shareThe field of daffodils scene of couse! I think it is the most romantic movie scene of all time.
But I love all the Edward/Sandra scenes: When time stops, the bathtub scene and when he reurns from the war.
I also love the ending with everyone at the riverbank and then at the funeral.

Riverbank and turning into the big fish.
Snakes. Why'd it have to be snakes?
