Such a moving film

This film is honestly one of the most touching movies I've ever seen. I've seen it multiple times already and I never fail to cry buckets everytime I watch it. It just strikes a chord in your heart that moves you so deeply. So, so good.

I agree with you. I also found this movie very moving and very well done. It reminded me of the stories my grandfather used to tell me as a child. I wish there were more movies like this one. I really enjoyed it.

its such a beautiful film. Id recommend the book as well, it sort of feels more personal. The scene when he meets Sandra and 'time stops' is one of my all time favourite film scenes.

I watched it for the first time finally yesterday. Very good film, and probably the most moving film Tim Burton has done in my opinion. Definitely tugged at the heartstrings at the end. I loved the creativity in this film. The cast was great! It was nice to see one of Marion Cotillard's earlier english speaking roles also.

Yes, the "time stopping" in the circus is my favorite scene too - so memorable, and has Alison Lohman ever looked more beautiful?!?

You don't watch Nolan movies, they watch you!

I finally watched it for the first time since I was 9 and I have to say that it is the ONLY movie that I have ever shed a tear to. I forgot how great the ending was.

I know! ME TOO!

I agree. The first time I watched this, I didn't think much of it but watched it again last night and loved it. Ed was always working and not able to see his family as much as he wanted, so he came up with these amazing stories to cheer himself up. That to me was really moving. It is a beautiful film.

......living .....for the most part, is boring. If you have a parent, who can breath some excitement into the mundane existence that fills up most of the space between those few 'highlights' that we, as most people have ....then ...the 'living' ....has been transformed into a 'life'.

As soon as I hear Jenny's Theme it's over. Tears streaming down my face. I associate it mostly to the film and it's message on fatherhood. What an underrated masterpiece. Burton's and Elfman's greatest and most emotional works. Elfman's quiet and loving score really hits the tone of this film home.
If you have a father, you will call him immediately after watching the film. If you no longer have one, you will cry yourself to sleep.
The only other piece of music that moves me to tears is the Ice Dance from Edward Scissorhands.
