Angels in America - the play

I saw part 1 last night and was totally impressed. The acting, the staging, everything was wonderful. The actor who played Prior looked eerily like Justin Kirk and was just as moving in the role. Zachary Quinto was great as Louis. In fact all of the actors were terrific. It ran for 3 hours with 2 short intermissions (it followed the HBO movie format), but I found I didn't get tired at all, I could have watched Part 2 that same evening.

If any of you get a chance, it is well worth seeing. I can't wait to see part 2 next week.

Part 2 was amazing! It was so incredibly moving and had more of the actual text in it than the HBO movie. I was not ready for it to be over. In fact, I would love to go see it again, but this time do both parts in the same day. Unfortunately, my husband says he will not join me to see it again, although he did enjoy it. I don't know where you are located Thomasina, but if you get a chance to see it, it was wonderful. It was a true experience for me.

It is playing at 555 W 42nd street, off 10th Ave at the Signature Theater. If you get a chance it is there until 3/27. I can't recommend it highly enough, Daesie.
