sharefilming in NYC is expensive, as well. But I did notice that it must've been exceptionally hard keeping things in '85/'86: modern cabs, modern coke can, doritos bags... somethings can't be helped (many times during filming in nyc, they put up signs around the filming area and say, as sort of a contract, if one walks through here you automatically agree to be in the film) but extras had 2003 clothing/hair and, of course, cars and whatnot. It brought me out of the time, to say the least.
