What happened to 'Wrench'? And Steve?

Saw the film on TV yesterday, not high class but a nice fast paced entertaining heist movie. ^^

What happened to 'Wrench' (FrankyG) after he betrayed the gang and opened the doors of the train for 5000 bucks?

Wahlberg and the others appeared, than this Mashkov guy took Steve away.
The scene switches back to the train. Did Mashkov capture Wrench too?

Or did Wahlberg know that Steve would appear and ordered Wrench to just play the traitor and open the train waggon?

P.S.: Unfortunately I missed some minutes in the film, what exactly was the faith of Steve?

He wasn't really betraying them, he knew that the gang were inside and had planned on Steve breaking in again. He decided to just make another $5k on top, and who blames him? :D So I he'd have gotten his share of the money and we don't see him again because we didn't know his rich-man-dream so who cares what he did it? He was a good guy, friends with Handsome Rob.

Steve is taken by Mashkov.

Wrench didn't betray the gang... Charlie must have at least had an idea that Steve might make it to the train station, which was why they were waiting inside the train car.
