this petition will not make him stop. I've been in the middle of 2 discussions on this topic on myspace and really, he won't stop.
not only does he call himself a genius, he also says that he will CRUSH the new Indiana Jones movie on opening day with Postal. NOT GONNA HAPPEN. he also states that the GAMES are the reason why the movies are so bad. so not only is he a huge idiot, he's also the biggest moron who likes to contradict himself. he's a genius, yet the movies suck because of the games? HELLO PLANET IDIOTIC. YOUR LEADER IS HERE ON EARTH!!!!! COME RECLAIM HIM...PLEASE!!!!!!!!!!!

The guy is a competent film-maker, why should he retire. I think he is an intensely interesting character, and I think that he hits a lot of things on the head when he speaks in interviews and the like. His films are interesting to watch, and have some real bright spots. Why sign some hack petition, when you can look less of a fool by just discussing his films as they are rather than as the internet hatred makes you see them.
