What so bad about inserting video game footage in a movie?(nm)

Ummm...because it's a movie. First of all, the way he put it in made no sense whatsoever. He used it as a transition between scenes. Not only did he throw in a COMPLETELY random scene from a video game, but it was from a video game that has piss-poor graphics (which I love though). Also, a movie should work as a standalone piece. If you're going to base a movie off of a video game, you should really avoid referencing that you are doing so. What I mean by that is even if you are adapting a video game to film, there's no need to make mention in the film that the idea came from a video game. Finally, a transition from real people to a video game is just absurd. It has no place in a film. And these are only a few of the reasons why I love this movie for how awful it is.
