The Auditorium
We visited the filming location of this film a few months ago, The Auditorium used was filmed at the old Elementary School, in Walterboro.
The old school (now an arts council) was also the setting for the principles office in Forrest Gump.

At the time of visiting 'Always Patsy Cline' was in concert in the Auditorium.
