Does anyone know what exact illness Radio has. In the movie the mother says they never gave her a name, and that he is just slower, and in the tag line it says he is mentally challenged/disabled, but does any one know what he might specifically have, like autism or something? I am writing a paper for a class on it, and it would help if I knew. Thanks!

I thought they referred to it as autistic

Not sure, the mother quoted he was normal, but slower. He might have autism or something, but it wasn't mentioned in the movie.

Go on the Wikipedia, and it'll tell you there. The actual Radio himself, that is.
