Vomit-inducing DRIVEL!

There was every lame cliche in this movie.

I also didn't get the "story" told by Ed Harris to his daughter in the truck...WTH did that have to do with the cost of tea in China?

Horrible...horrible...and an insult to the real "Radio".

The reason he tells her that story is what finally answers the question of why he's doing what he's doing with Radio. It's obviously about GUILT. He feels guilty about ignoring the way a mentally challenged boy his age was being treated all those years ago, so with Radio he saw an opportunity to actually do something about it instead of letting others bully him. He treated Radio with dignity and respect. Weren't you paying attention?

Don't expect someone who doesn't get the movie to actually get the poignant beauty of understatement that this film had all over it. What a moronic original post. Please stop spawning.

It had to do with fact he abandoned a person who was in need when he came across him as a paper boy............and had apparently been plagued by that memory for years.....that he had done nothing during the two years he had that route.

Your compassion level appears to be as poor as Frank Clay...........at least his son moved past him.
