The part that kills this movie for me

When Coach Jones is teaching Radio how to write his name and then radio writes some scribble and then coach jones just tells him he did good. After all that talk about trying to help him and not just feeling sorry for him. Just ruins the movie for me.

You should never discourage someone when they are trying their best. You praise their effort, and encourage them to keep trying.

I thought the coach told him to write an o and showed him how, and Radio made a series of looped o's and the coach congratulated him on doing that. But maybe I misinterpreted it.

If Radio is told that he did it wrong, he may become so upset and embarrased that he may never try again. There are teaching techniques that you use for different levels of students. Just the fact that Radio tried to imitate the writing was a good start. It showed that he trusted the coach and felt that he was in a safe environment. Try volunteering with disabled students or people and see what type of patience and teaching style you need for success.

And, don't make it so easy for small things to ruin movies or your day, for you.

Glad you're not a special education teacher. Any first attempt at creation is to be applauded. You can go look that up. It's common sense. I don't need to have a sister that teaches mentally handicapped individuals to know that.

Not hammering on you, maybe you didn't know that. Just a fact you should know.
