Barbershop + Drinking Game

I enjoyed the film but I felt the barbershop scenes were unnatural and seemed slightly awkward. There was a tangible sense of respect for the coach which I can understand but he approaches deity status in the barbershop with all the guys just sitting hanging on his every word. In reality there'd be a lot more banter from the other guys (extras). It just didn't ring true. Does anyone have any experience of hanging out in a barbershop drinking coffee late at night with their friends? Was it like this?

On a different note I hereby have invented the "Radio" drinking game. Simply down a shot every time the word "Radio" is uttered. Its tough to get to the end of the first football season!

I reckon the Barbershop was a plot device as the meeting they had looked unrealistic.
