The first time I saw it I hated Jennifer Connolly's role

With a passion, couldn't stand how selfish she was. But 17 years later, I hate the cop, he was the one who ruined everything. They had just made a connection and he stepped in and brought hell to everyone. Hope he rots in prison.

I agree with you though. I saw this movie and it has bugged me for a long time. It was the kind of movie that is supposed to make you think. It was a weird one.
