Speaking of that quote...
I saw this movie for the first time ever last week. When Bullock and her friend said those lines, I recgonized them. But I had never seen the movie, nor cared enough about the movie to know anything about it besides who was in it. I never saw the trailers, either.
So I think I've seen it in another movie. What movie could that be?
I think that line is one of the reasons I enjoyed the movie so much! I'm sure a lot of Bush lovers are going to bash me now. lol But I don't care. I have just as much right to speak my mind, as anyone else. Freedom of speech people! Deal with it! :P
Anyhow, I think it was a nice romantic comedy, although fairly predictable. And to risk the chance of sounding like a simple-minded person, I thought the scene where Lucy was running to get to the RV (while Taking Care of Business was playing in the background)was absolutely hilarious! Yes I know, it was a crude joke/scene, but I still laughed. Oh well, I occasionally laugh at silly scenes. Deal with that too! hah

Does anyone know what exactly we are repeatedly demanded to "deal with" here?
Jeez... it's just a movie.
But, on the other hand, George W's re-election was real......... Sweet!

I think it was pretty obvious what the "deal with it" lines meant. Are you not good with reading comprehension? Perhaps you should try re-reading my post, slower this time. Maybe your brain can understand it better the hundredth time around? One can only hope. :) Fortunately I didn't read this comment a couple of years ago, because the mention of Bush's reelection would've really bothered me (considering I can't stand the man.) However, he's almost out of office, many statements he made were proven to be incorrect, and his level of stupidity continues to rise by the day. I guess your unworthy praise and awe of him makes you feel silly now, huh? Or at least it should. Only an imbecile would still approve of his actions. And if you don't like what I have to say, go away and....Deal with it. :)
shareshe just said that she cried when bush one, and then her friend goes- which one? and then sandra says ''both'' and then she pauses and says that another george made her cry.
i think :)
Who cares? The movie sucked?
sharewhy was that a question? ;P
shareAfter the big dance party when Lucy goes to Meryl's home to return her shoes.
Meryl: What's wrong?
Lucy: Thanks for your shoes.
Meryl: Hold on, lady. Look at me. What happened?
Lucy: Nothing.
Meryl: Something happened. I've known you since Brownies, I've never seen you cry. Except when Bush won.
Lucy: Which Bush?
Meryl: Both of them. So maybe you cried twice.
