In one scene I caught briefly, Lucy is in office building, and she obviously is on a very high floor with a view of the water and as this movie was obviously made in NYC, I couldn't help wonder if maybe this could have been filmed from one of the World Trade Center tower buildings.
As this movie came out in 2002, it might very well have easily been filmed in 2001, prior to the awful terriorist attacks.
Might anyone know?

This is one of the reasons I learned to listen to the commentaries on my DVDs. This one has Sandy, Hugh and the Writer/Director.
They noted that they have the distinction of being THE first film to go into production after September 11, 2001. The scene in the background of Sandy's office is Governors Island.
Hope that helps. This is why I LOVE commentaries! You especially hear all the lovely European sniping (don't forget, Sandy spent most of her time growing up in Germany).

Hi sorry for such a delayed response, but I had seen the movie yesterday after not having seen it for sometime and that scene got to me again. It really made me think that she could have been in one of the Towers of the World Trade Center. I myself had been a visiter in one of the towers a few times myself in the past.
Thanks for the info regarding the commentaries now I know for sure that very sadly and angrily this would not have been possible.
In addition the scene where they are taking the helicoper ride, I noticed they had showed the Lower Manhattan area, but as the scene was brief I thought maybe I had missed seeing the World Trade Center towers.
