Should I watch this show?
I love Columbo and have seen all the episodes multiple times. I also enjoyed Poker Face, which emulated the Columbo inverted-detective, Howcatchum style.

shareI think just about every show has at least one murder that Monk eventually solves. It's similar to Columbo," but I think there's more humor in "Monk" (at least a different kind of humor). I think you should definitely give it a try...I think you'd like it, given that you like "Columbo" so well.

Very Slight Spoilers. Sometimes it's really obvious who committed the murder, and it's more about Monk solving it. Other times, you don't find out who did it until the end. It's a very unusual case, and only Monk has the capablities to solve it.
I like both Monk and Columbo, so I say go for it.
