Agree with what Gbradley13 said. Most paid, plus money aside, they just were not gonna put Shia LaBeouf before them. I didn't know who he was. I never watched Even Stevens. This movie was the first thing I saw him in.
And Sigourney Weaver, Jon Voight and Patricia Arquette were just more well known. Think about it this way: parents who take there kids to see "Holes" want to know some of the names. Most likely parents will know all 3 of those names.
