I would love it if they did a movie of Small Steps as well. If they did, would you like to see Byron Cotton and Brenden Jefferson come back as Armpit and X-Ray, or do you think they should cast new actors? Who would you like to see as Kaira, Ginny, etc.?
shareI actually haven't read it but I've been meaning to. I heard the basic plot and I'd love to see a movie about X Ray and Armpit. I'd like for the guys to reprise their roles but they might be too old. And if there are older versions of the guys in the story I have a feeling they would rather get two new actors that can pass as older and younger. Unless they can do it. I used to keep up with Brenden Jefferson but I haven't seen him on anything in a while. I'd be curious to see your opinions/choices. What do you think?

I love Small Steps. When I was younger, Holes was my favourite book and I was obsessed with it. As soon as I saw Small Steps I grabbed it and read the entire book in like an hour. I would definitely see a movie adaption of it, but I'd be worried about how it would turn out since it's a different kind of love story and has a deeper plot than Holes. It seems like it was targeted to a more mature audience.
