I thought the days of epic young adventure films died in the 80's, but I found this one on netflicks.

This movie is easily just as good as the Goonies, the Sandlot, Radioflyer or ET. I have no idea how anyone couldn't like it.

I gave it a 9.

I thourougly enjoyed it myself,, I would go just a slight notch below sandlot,, but not far behind, excellent story,, kept me interested the whole entire movie..

yea ,its great, and so is the book ! I read it in 2004 lol in High school

Its weird right that we never watch this before in 2003. Downright weird. And I thought I've watched all movies.
