Hector's mum came back for the money.

Selfish bitch.
Im sorry but if you can't find your child in the 21st century, then you are an idiot.
She was in it for the money.
If she had called for an investigation for her missing son, they would have found him. Detectives show up at her door and she probably discovers he's now loaded with money, plus probably feels a duty to return once being found.

What a horrible cow.

Didn't the private investgators say that his mother was looking for him? ...She didn't know he was rich.

...Besides, the curse was to blame, right?

Yeah, you're right and you're not an idiot so why don't you go out and find the thousands of children that go missing every year? Sheesh!!!!

I don't love her.. She kicked me in the face!!

They are different circumstances.

Hector is alive and is not hidden from his mother, infact he stayed where she left him for a long time or aat least in the surrounding area. My point is, he wasn't trying to stay hidden, nor was he hidden by anyone else. If a mother and child are both looking for each other in the same town in the 21st century, how the hell do they not find each other? I mean she was supposedly using the aid of detectives. It would be a different matter if he was abducted but he wasn't.

Now either some detectives need to find a new profession or hectors mum is a lying, child neglecting disgrace..

My theory is she was probably a prostitute/junkie.

Maybe something prevented her from returning to were Hector was waiting maybe he had to run away because some stranger was scaring him, and stanley says that his mum was looking for him to
SPARTANS!!! TONIGHT WE DINE IN HELL!!!

I don't know where you got that from. Hector and his mother were homeless. She couldn't afford an aid of detectives, she couldn't even afford a home for them to live in. Hector said she was gone sometimes for days and they would move around a lot. Which means when she came back for him, he was probably already in the camp institute, so she was unable to find him.

If he's gone in the middle of no where, she'd have trouble finding her son. The warden even said he has no family, so no one knew how to contact his mother or if she's even alive as well. Hector wouldn't speak to anyone, so it's not like they could ask him. I doubt anyone cared enough to ask him either. I think it was just all bad luck or fate to get Hector and Stanley together.

I really think you should listen to the film properly and get your facts straight before you write ridiculous stuff like this. In the scene when Zero finds his mother, Stanley says in his monologue, that it turns out his mother was looking for Zero too. So she definitely wasn't in for the money,

reply

Wow, you people take this personally as if she's a real person or something. Just because she said she was looking for Zero all along doesn't mean she was. My theory is that she was arrested the last time Zero saw her; that's why she "disappeared".

i think you might be on to something
