Where was this filmed?
Obviously the begining is filmed somewhere probably in France or Canada, and the rest of the movie does not in any way look like chicago.
Any guesses?

I saw this film at someone's house on Saturday. I live in Chicago and am a big fan of Paris, so I appreciated the combo.
A few of the Chicago sites were recognizable to me as Chicago. The set-up shots of typical sites like the John Hancock building and Buckingham fountain were definitely Chicago, and, surprisingly, the outside of the motel (Heart 'o Chicago, if I recall correctly) where they found the girl after she fled was from a little stretch of cheap motels on Lincoln Avenue.
But nothing else looked familiar, and I know that there's no Liberty Street (which they mentioned a couple of times) in Chicago. I authoritatively told my co-watchers that the film had mostly been filmed in Toronto, and I'm glad to see that someone who "no"s that it indeed was. (I must have blinked when the credits said where it was filmed, tho' I saw some not-necessarily-location credits in Toronto.) I'm going to google up a map of T.O. and see exactly where it is.
