Clear's death scene details

I see this when I was a kid and have always looked away when I've re watched the film. I remember it being nasty as hell and the camera going close to her face as the explosion goes off. Can you guys explain It bit by bit and how gruesome it is so I can watch it and know what to expect? I hate to see Ali Larters face get blown off.

It's actually one of the least nasty deaths in the movie. Her face just sort of turns into an orange/grey blur. It's a pretty dodgy CG effect, even for '03.
