so what attracts the monster to people?? is it courage that he wants?? (sorry, I'm only half way through, I'll probably amend this after lol) Cos Scotty was a douche but he's kinda brave....

Scotty was pretty much the opposite of brave, lol. It's never actually said what draws the creeper to his victims. That said, they're always teen boys and, well, look at Salva's past.

I was trying to remember the first movie too lol...okay, if I don't think too hard then this was a great movie; the perfect popcorn horror movie where you'd definitely get laid afterwards...oospie, I've said too much!!

Lol... ^ I don't think that's why. He attacked the police officer in the first one, he wasn't a young boy. Pretty sure it's just because they're on East 9. His chapel was there and this movie only takes place 4 days after the first one. On the radio signal they talk about the chapel being on fire 4 days before. That being said, Darry even brought up Darla and what, Craig I think. And they never found her head. He finds her head in the chapel. That was years before Darry and the bus are attacked. He's been stalking East 9, he even attacked the in the roach truck and the other older couple in the car they find later.

You just sounded like a douche by saying it's because he likes young boys. What good horror movie only attacks adults? Not many.

He is attracted to fear. He can sense it and the ones who have the most fear of him are the ones he really wants. I think that's why he didn't want Trisha in the first one because she offered herself to him and didn't have as much fear as Derry.
