So, I can't find to rent this movie anywhere where I live, so I am wondering are there any movies that are similar to this one? I mean, not the same, but just sort of the same feel? Thanks.

-Pride & Prejudice (2005)
-Sense & Sensibility (1995)

it totally opinion and view of each person but I find Pride and Prejudice 1995 is a much better version than 2005 one.

For Sense and Sensibility, the 2008 version should be thrown in there to compare with 1995. the 2 sisters in the former one seem more believable.

Films set in remote home in countryside with eccentric characters looking for love:

Ladies in Lavender (Maggie Smith and Judi Dench)
Keeping Mum (Kirsten Scott-Thomas, Rowan Atkinson, Maggie Smith) caution: very black humour
My House in Umbria (Maggie Smith and Timothy Spall) set in Italy
May Fools (bunch of French actors) set in France
Under The Tuscan Sun (Diane Lane) set in Italy, I hated this one
Room With A View (Helena Bonham Carter, Daniel Day-Lewis and Maggie Smith) set in Italy

This is a start, anyway.

For movies in the same sort of period, I suggest

- Gosford Park
- Bright Young Things
- Brideshead Revisited

and the TV series

- Jeeves and Wooster (bloody brilliant!)

Emma 2009 (Romola = leading actress in this one)
Cranford 2007 (and the sequel Return to Cranford 2009)

Thanks very much for the recommendation. all 3 movies/shows you mention are good. so i am very excited you say J&W "brilliant".

I also love Hugh Laurie so J&W surely will be great to watch.
