Am I the Only One...

...who noticed Johnny Lee Miller's disappearing-reappearing accent?

I noticed it.

I thought the accent sounded kind of odd all the way through, although I'm British not American and so perhaps not really knowledgeable enough to comment.

I think one of the most obvious times was when he called Sarah's name after the passing out scene. There's a marked difference between the way the English and Americans pronounce that name and here, though not elsewhere, he said it in a very English accent.

I think this is the first time I've seen him in anything without his normal English accent. I'd heard that many Americans were surprised to find he was British after Eli Stone, so perhaps his American accent has improved by now? (I haven't seen it).

I haven't seen Eli Stone either, but the first film I remember seeing him in was "Hackers", and he played an American in that one, too. I can't recall if his accent wavered or not because I haven't seen that movie in at least 10 years. As far as his accent sounding odd in "Mindhunters", he was supposed to be from the South (I can't remember if they mentioned exactly where he was from), and their accents vary by region.

I did too. He was still the most interesting character in the film though, so I didn't mind too much. Based on Dexter. he's gotten better at covering it up.
