Why did johnny lee miller kill people? must of missed his motive?
shareBriefly, Because he wanted to. The back story reveals he killed his parents, and when nobody suspected him of the crime, he started looking for more challenging murders to commit. He's nuts. It's one of the weak links in the script, I think; let's just make the mastermind a homicidal sociopath that nobody has diagnosed.
Still a pretty interesting movie, all in all. Good cast, well filmed.
I actually thought the motive was one of the script's strongest aspects (which it didn't have a lot of... )
