Everyone seems to think of "Last Friday" to be a prequel and a bad name..i think its a great name now check this out.....

- The movies can start to where Craig is in prison or jail, and he is thinking about last friday, the stuff he and his cousin or smokey got into, then it goes into the story and movie, then all and all at the end it can show Craig getting his sentence or possible being put on death row, ending the series by having Craig die. -

Just a thought to throw out there, tell me what you think.

I'mma be straight up with you. Friday's are all comedies. And for a comedy, that idea blows.

Not if it's in a more serious role like the first Friday was. Now... If Craig got married or whatever then that won't be a good movie.

The first Friday was by far, not serious.

It was more serious then Next Friday & Friday after Next. If you compare the 3 movies, then you will see that The First Friday has less comedy parts then the others. It didn't try to base itself around it.

Don't change a formula that has already worked. All three movies had a common theme. Smoking bud, finding (or keeping) a job, and hijinx in the hood. If it isn't broke don't fix it. My idea would be something like finding Craig and Smokey in Jamaica (or somewhere known for bud) and they flash back to *Last Friday* and tell the story of how they went from Watts to where they are now. Send them out on a level where they don't need to work they just kick back all day and enjoy their life just like as much as they stressed off it in the first one. Just an idea. Personally I think it's better than going serious. Don't make it preachy..make it fun. Like the others.

Man, i just want to say that you're soo right. the movies are all about the weed, the money, their ladies,and the laid-back kind of day as the events unfold. Good *beep* buddy

A Last Friday Prequel could work but It'd be difficult getting Chris Tucker back to play Smokey...
